More Dangerous than Can be Imagined!

Today reality is manufactured, organized and AI manipulated to enable the greatest rebellion against God the world has ever known. Insisting this is all real gives this evil the capability to manipulate truth on a world-wide scale for very dark purposes. Computers and smartphones feed people through the airways blurring the lines of communication between what is true, what is simulated, what is reality or what is artificial. AI generated content fills social media, music and evil political agendas by mimicking real people enabling social interactions with the ghost of reality. All of this equals a disguise to manipulate perception to be mentally seized by the reins of social media. Evil’s goal is to incentivize decadence and outrage by enabling conformity to a false self-serving perception of truth. They focus on shifting and devaluing biblical history to AI generated simulations to manipulate reality and historical truth to what people feel, believe and self-create.

The danger is people become disconnected from objective truth. Thus, evil jumps in becoming the false reality calling “…evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness” (Isaiah 5:20). Living life medicated and intoxicated through digital stimulations prevents people from living in peace and joy of life, and in the imperfections in real rewarding relationships. This pushes people towards a fully digital creation that only exists and benefits those who from their very nature lie to seek power and control over society. Now, visualize the motives of the son of perdition with the worldwide power of persuasion to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Then we can imagine the threat to our lives and families. Evils motive is to convince people to become immersed in computer-generated space so they will depend on invented imitations of reality and are much less likely to live out their faith and/or stand against systems that govern or devalue their physical lives. This enables evil to digitally wrestle self-will from our control, God from the only reality, and Christ from everlasting life. Dooming people to eternal damnation.

Christians today, especially our youngest, spend hours upon hours on what is artificially living vicariously through stimulation that omits God’s truth, disguises personal gratification, and replaces achievement with nothingness. These life’s essentials are what enables humans to live in God’s spirit of joy, contentment, and satisfaction. Christians are called to live in the real world. Our faith is not an idea, or concept. Our faith is based on the reality of God grounded in the tangible, provable flesh and blood reality of Jesus the Christ. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is by itself a rejection of what is artificial. The resurrection is the declaration and the source of all truth that proves Jesus Christ is God, the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). The Christian life is not meant to be lived detached from reality or buried deep into an artificial cloud controlled by computer generated information. Christians are commanded to be God’s mouth, hands and feet to go out and represent Christ’s cause to “…bear witness to the truth” (John 18:37).

To resist this artificial world Christians must make a deliberate stand to reclaim the reality of Christ in every area of our lives. Parents have to do their job and regulate their children’s cell phone and social media dependence. This begins with insisting on less face time, more reading and face-to-face conversations prioritizing human connection and interaction. Every one of us, especially our church leadership has to expose this evil. Verbally stand against it, and encourage prioritizing the physical reality of family, friends, and the body of Christ. This will consciencely separate and devalue this imprudent digital buddy demonstrating we are in command of ourselves. This very fact will enable us to be more physically rooted in the nature of God by personally reflecting His holiness during our everyday relationships. To do this, the Body of Christ will have to learn to “…walk with the wise to be wise, but know the companion of fools will be destroyed” (Proverbs 13:20).

Christians have to choose and graciously insist that our families and friends are to be fully present in the moment rather than distracted by endless digital inspiration. In plain language, we must strategically insist that when we are together, portable phones are not visible. We have to recognize, if visible in our hands or close by, this is a rude insult and affront to family, friends and other personal relationships. Christians cannot love God and love others as we love ourselves and let devices separate and devalue others.

The battle between what is God’s truth and what is artificial is the age-old spiritual battle between good and evil. The enemy seeks to distort reality by leading people into illusion and deception. Nevertheless, God is the first and last author of truth, and those who seek Him will always find Christ, who is truth and grace. The more we immerse ourselves in Christ’s presence, the more His spirit will guide, comfort, and tell us what is to come. Dwelling in His Spirit makes us less able to be swayed by the artificial world which is the digital age of temptation around us that embraces convenience and instant stimulation at the expense of wisdom, relationships and achievement. Christians must resist, and build our lives rooted in what is true and eternal. In the end, life is only what is God’s reality and this is all that will remain. Therefore, Christians must insist on living in physical reality, because God’s certainty is the only way to be sustained by truth itself.
